Proven expertise in PEB structures, industrial utilities, flooring, and infrastructure works. Strong knowledge of architectural, structural, and MEP drawings. Effective in contractor/vendor management and stakeholder coordination. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.

Role & responsibilities Structural Engineering Design and analyse structural components of warehouse projects including pre-engineered buildings (PEBs), RCC works, pile foundations, and infrastructure development. Prepare and review structural drawings, design calculations, and construction methodologies. Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, and site execution teams to ensure integrated structural solutions. Ensure adherence to relevant IS Codes, NBC norms, and industry best practices for structural safety and durability. Estimation & Costing Prepare detailed cost estimates and BOQs for structural and civil works based on drawings, technical specifications, and site visits. Analyse material, labour, equipment, and subcontractor costs and prepare rate analysis. Evaluate contractor bids, assist in tender documentation, and conduct value engineering exercises. Monitor project budgets and forecast costs at various stages of project execution. Provide input for project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control. Key Responsibilities: Independently manage the on-site execution of MEP services and Fire Protection systems. Coordinate with contractors to ensure execution of work as per approved drawings, specifications, and relevant codes. Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of MEPF systems. Ensure compliance with local and international standards (NBC, IEC, NFPA, IS standards, etc.). Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements. Monitor project progress, manage site resources, and resolve technical issues on-site. Enforce quality control and safety standards; maintain necessary documentation and reports. Coordinate with statutory authorities for approvals and inspections as required. Prepare and maintain daily/weekly reports, progress trackers, and site documentation. Preferred candidate profile In-depth technical knowledge of Fire Protection , Electrical , and Plumbing systems. Proven expertise in integrating MEPF services within on-site operations. Hands-on experience managing large-scale warehouse projects, preferably within Chennai or similar urban industrial environments. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings; proficiency in project management tools. Familiarity with local bylaws, building regulations, and applicable international codes. Strong communication, coordination, and leadership capabilities.
