Warehouse Foreman

As a Material Manager at Bechtel, your primary responsibility will be to oversee material management activities for a project or jobsite. You will be required to ensure compliance with corporate policies related to the receipt, inspection, storage, inventory control, physical security, and issuance of materials and equipment. Your role will also involve monitoring employee utilization, work hours, and staffing to facilitate accurate, efficient, and timely material management. Your major responsibilities will include identifying and taking necessary actions for all UOS&D material and equipment received at jobsite locations, initiating actions to dispose of excess materials, supervising a team of inventory control personnel, monitoring project work and resource allocation, and indoctrinating newly assigned personnel to project requirements and procedures. Additionally, you will assist in establishing long-range personnel objectives, implementing inventory control plans, and utilizing project automation tools for monitoring data transfers and ensuring material requirements are met. To be eligible for this position, you must hold a bachelor's degree and possess 5-8 years of relevant experience or have 9-12 years of relevant work experience. You should have previous warehouse supervisory experience, knowledge of materials management automated systems, good organizational skills, and demonstrated leadership abilities. Understanding of standard field procurement procedures, inventory control responsibilities, and material management automation tools is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, supervisory workload distribution, and effective communication with other project functional groups is also required.
