As the Senior Manager - Secondary Logistics at Parle Agro, you will be responsible for managing Distribution Planning, Dispatch Planning & Secondary Logistics operations across the country in real time. Your role will involve generating and providing inputs for long term infrastructure and operations execution. You will oversee the pan India Secondary Distribution network of Parle Agro, which includes 57 CFA locations and Depots, leading a team of Regional Logistics resources. Providing Systems and Process framework for Secondary Distribution operations in coordination with customer departments will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Critical analysis and workings to support management decision making, including budgeting, production planning, Plant capacity utilization, and augmentation, will be part of your role. You will also contribute qualified inputs for the creation and implementation of various SoPs for day-to-day operations at the Depots and CFA. Your responsibilities will include providing design and implementation support for Information systems aligned with the SoPs, as well as developing and implementing cost-saving initiatives such as warehouse consolidation and direct dispatch to achieve optimal service cost without compromising service time lines and levels. Additionally, you will be expected to provide Secondary Cost MIS along with variance analysis, focus areas for cost reduction, and CFA performance metric measurement and appraisals with regular reviews. Monitoring and ensuring Quality and stock audits at the CFA/Depots, along with closure of NCs through follow up, will be part of your tasks. Long term Demand planning and Operations management will require utilizing various forecast techniques to generate and maintain expected demand plans for at least 2-3 years with inputs from stakeholders. Network Analysis and Cost working for optimization will involve conducting a complete Network Analysis of existing and required Depot locations to achieve Sales growth objectives at optimal costs. Logistics and Operations Management responsibilities will include tracking costs (Budget Vs. Actual) and providing corrective action inputs, negotiating freights with Transport contractors based on company guidelines, and negotiating with CFAs for Fixed and Variable Costs with market inputs.
