Job Description

A. Administrative & Clerical Duties

Manage patient admissions, transfers, and discharges in the ward.
Maintain and update patient records, files, and registers accurately.
Assist in preparing daily census reports and ward activity logs.
Ensure all necessary forms, consent documents, and reports are completed and filed.
Maintain stock of ward stationery and request replenishments as needed.

B. Communication & Coordination

Coordinate with laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, billing, and other departments for patient services.
Facilitate communication between medical staff, nursing teams, and patient families.
Attend and respond to phone calls politely and professionally.
Inform concerned departments about patient movements, tests, and procedures.

C. Patient Service Support

Guide patients and attendants regarding ward procedures and hospital policies.
Assist in billing and provide clarity to patients regarding charges when required.
Support patient satisfaction initiatives by maintaining a courteous and helpful approach.

D. Documentation & Data Entry

Enter and update patient information into the Hospital Information System (HIS).
Prepare and print discharge summaries, reports, and documents as advised.
Maintain confidentiality of all patient-related data.

E. Operational Support

Ensure proper maintenance of ward office equipment (computer, printer, phone).
Support nursing staff with non-clinical tasks to improve workflow efficiency.
Participate in quality and NABH documentation, if applicable.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,644.65 - ₹30,035.65 per month
