Role Overview: As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the current network configuration and infrastructure. Your main focus will be designing a revamped network infrastructure to enhance network performance. You will utilize your strong technical skills in Linux, Windows environments, and IP networking to provide troubleshooting and configuration support. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement network architecture and design strategies to support business requirements, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. - Design and implement WAN/LAN infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks, to optimize network performance and availability. - Lead the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of server infrastructure, storage systems, virtualization platforms, and cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure). - Ensure the integrity and availability of IT infrastructure components, including servers, storage, operating systems, and middleware. - Implement and enforce network security policies, protocols, and best practices to protect data, systems, and infrastructure from unauthorized access and cyber threats. - Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing; implement remediation measures as necessary to maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations. - Monitor network and infrastructure performance, analyze network traffic patterns, and optimize network configurations to ensure efficient operation and resource utilization. - Configure and maintain network monitoring tools and dashboards to proactively identify and address performance issues and outages. - Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of network engineers and infrastructure specialists, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience). - Certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CompTIA Network+, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), or equivalent preferred. - Proven experience in network engineering, infrastructure management, or a similar role, with hands-on experience in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.,
