As a Systems Support Officer at V Group, your main responsibility will be to provide high-level support for the systems within the Group. You will be required to communicate with end users, assist in problem resolution, and maintain a professional demeanor while working within the IT department's structure. Additionally, you will need to travel to vessels and offices as necessary to provide support, adhere to support infrastructure, and fulfill duties ranging from helpdesk support to project support. Key Responsibilities and Tasks: - Supporting all V Group Business Systems, including in-house and off-the-shelf applications - Strict adherence to V Group's policies and procedures, specifically VMS and IT policy documents - Providing telephone and remote support as part of the global team while maintaining professionalism - Updating users via the service desk system and resolving or escalating issues accordingly - Providing IT support to on-board systems on vessels and offering telephone support to vessels - Supporting all hardware used within the Group and enforcing IT security policies - Attending remote office visits and providing necessary support - Administering helpdesk tasks as required and meeting SLAs set by IT management In return for your contributions, V Group offers a competitive salary and benefits package, along with ample opportunities for career growth and personal development. Essential Qualifications: - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with end users - Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken - Proficiency in desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, and servers - Experience with Windows 10 and above operating systems, Microsoft Active Directory Administration, and Microsoft Office packages including O365 - Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, switches, LAN, WAN topologies, and vessel communications systems Desired Qualifications: - Familiarity with Cisco Call Manager, ServiceDesk systems, mobile devices, cloud-based environments, Teams calling, and SharePoint administration If you are interested in this opportunity, please submit your application by the closing date of 04 May 2025.,
