The Network Engineer (Cisco SD Access) plays a crucial role in ensuring the robustness, security, and efficient management of the organization's network infrastructure. Your responsibilities include implementing and supporting Cisco's Software-Defined Access (SD-Access) architecture to centralize network resource management and enhance security policies. You will not only be involved in the deployment but also in optimizing SD-Access components to ensure adaptability to future technological advancements. Collaborating within teams, you will drive projects to enhance connectivity, improve user experience, and reduce outages, contributing to the development of innovative solutions that align technical capabilities with business objectives. Your key responsibilities will involve designing and implementing Cisco SD Access for enhanced network segmentation, leading troubleshooting efforts on network issues, monitoring and optimizing network performance, managing and securing network devices, configuring and maintaining LAN and WAN connectivity, implementing routing protocols, collaborating with security teams to enforce policies, conducting network assessments and audits, adhering to best practices in network design, deploying network-related projects, documenting network configurations and operational procedures, providing support for network incidents and requests, training junior staff, and preparing reports on network performance and resource utilization trends. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering focused on Cisco environments. You should have extensive knowledge of Cisco SD-Access implementation and management, hands-on experience with routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP, and hold a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher certification. Proficiency in network security protocols, familiarity with network monitoring tools like SolarWinds or PRTG, expertise in VLANs, subnets, IP addressing schemes, Quality of Service (QoS) implementation, experience in VPN and firewall configurations, strong analytical skills for troubleshooting complex network issues, ability to work independently and as part of a team, excellent communication skills, willingness to stay updated on evolving networking technologies, experience in using ticketing systems for network support tasks, and strong organizational skills with attention to detail are essential for this role. Your skills in network security protocols, firewall management, IP addressing, LAN configuration, communication, network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG), DNAC, VPN configurations, router management, QoS, organizational skills, routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), Cisco SD Access, network segmentation, switch management, WAN configuration, subnets, firewall configurations, network monitoring, network performance optimization, troubleshooting, VLANs, and analytical skills will be instrumental in excelling in this position.,
