JD for Operation and Maintenance head: Should understand unit operations & chemistry of effluent treatment plant and RO,ZLD. Manage and supervise all aspects of ETP & RO operations of a copper smelter, including monitoring, maintenance and trouble shooting. Adhering to established protocols and procedure & ensure smooth and efficient operation of the plant. Develop & implement strategies to improve plant efficiency, reduce cost & comply with environmental norms of SPCB and CPCB. Manage and optimize the use of resources including manpower, chemicals & equipments. Conduct regular inspections and monitoring of equipment performance to prevent breakdowns & optimize efficiency. Ensure compliance of safety standards applicable at site Maintain accurate records of plant operations including volume of treated effluent, water pumped back in plant reservoir through ZLD and solid discharge to SLF Should understand the procedure & compliances applicable at SLF. Prepare reports for regulatory agencies. Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they are performing their duties effectively. Qualification, BSc/BE in chemical Engineering with 4 to 5 years experience in relevant operations
