Role : Relationship Manager - Business Loan

Grade : M2/M3/M4

Location : Delhi

• To acquire and manage Business Loan relationships across SME, MSME, and emerging corporate segments.
• To understand clients' business requirements and provide suitable business lending solutions including Working Capital Loans, Term Loans, Overdrafts, Cash Credit, and other secured/unsecured business finance products.
• To identify and source new business opportunities through self-sourcing, branch banking teams, referrals, channel partners, and market networking.
• To build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers such as business owners, promoters, directors, and CFOs.
• To analyze customer financial statements, banking behavior, cash flows, and business performance for lending opportunities.
• To collaborate with credit, operations, legal, and underwriting teams for seamless processing and disbursement of loan proposals.
• To drive cross-selling opportunities across liabilities, trade finance, transaction banking, insurance, and investment products.
• To continuously increase portfolio size, revenue, and profitability while maintaining portfolio quality.
• To monitor local market opportunities, competitor activities, and industry trends to strengthen Kotak's presence in the target market.
• To deliver superior customer service and ensure timely resolution of customer requirements and queries.

Responsibilities

• Source and acquire new Business Loan customers in assigned geographies.
• Achieve business disbursement, acquisition, revenue, and portfolio growth targets.
• Evaluate customer eligibility through financial analysis, cash flow assessment, and business evaluation.
• Structure suitable lending solutions based on customer requirements and risk profile.
• Manage the entire customer lifecycle from lead generation, login, sanction, documentation, and disbursement.
• Build strong relationships with existing and prospective customers to enhance wallet share.
• Cross-sell banking products such as Current Accounts, Term Deposits, Trade Finance, and Transaction Banking solutions.
• Ensure adherence to internal credit, compliance, and operational policies.
• Maintain portfolio health through regular monitoring and customer engagement.
• Work closely with branch banking and internal stakeholders to maximize business opportunities.
• Generate business through market mapping, references, and local business ecosystems.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Experience in Business Loans, SME/MSME Lending, Working Capital Financing, Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking, or Relationship Management.
• Strong understanding of business lending products, financial analysis, and credit assessment.
• Proven track record in customer acquisition and achieving sales targets.
• Ability to understand customer business models and recommend suitable financing solutions.
• Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong market networking and business development capabilities.
