Job Description

Position: Waitress - F&B Service.
Location: Business Class Hotel, Vythiri, Wayanad

We are looking for a Waiter – F&B Service to join our newly opened business-class hotel in Vythiri, Wayanad. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, with a strong passion for service, learning, and growth in the Food & Beverage field.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet guests courteously and escort them to their tables
• Present menus and provide detailed information upon request
• Prepare tables by setting linens, cutlery, and glassware
• Recommend menu items and upsell additional products when appropriate
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems or order slips
• Communicate order details clearly to the kitchen team
• Serve food and beverages as per service standards
• Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation; report issues if any
• Maintain neat table arrangements and a clean dining area
• Present bills and collect payments accurately
• Clear used plates, glasses, and cutlery and send them for cleaning
• Attend daily briefings to understand specials, menu changes, and reservations
• Deliver excellent customer service and handle guest interactions professionally

Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Hotel Management or Catering technology.
• Good communication skill in English.
• Minimum 1 year experience in same role.
