In an OTR (Off-The-Road) Tyre Management Contract , the Shift Supervisor is a key leader during their shift. Their main job is to make sure all tyre work is done safely , correctly , and on time . The Shift Supervisor will report to the Site Manager/ Site Engineer . Main Responsibilities: Daily Work Supervision : Watch over all tyre jobs during the shift like checking, fixing, changing, rotating tyres, and checking tyre pressure. Make sure the team follows all standard work rules (SOPs). Team Management : Give tasks to tyre technicians and make sure everyone knows what to do. Tool and Equipment Check : Make sure all tyre tools and machines (like jacks, torque tools, tyre dismantler etc) are working well and used properly. Report any broken or missing tools. Safety at Work : Make sure everyone follows safety rules (like wearing PPE). Give short safety talks before the shift starts. Client Communication : Talk with the client’s team about tyre service plans or any urgent tyre problems.
