Mandatory Skills: Ospf, Bgp, MPLS, Fortigate or Firewall, vxlan, vrf, leaf-spine, VTP, Etherchannel, VPC, VSS, STP, NAT,VPN, SSL/IPsec tunnel,HSRP/VRRP, PBR, IP SLA Job Description of Network L2/L3 Engineer: Network Engineering & Security: (Compulsory)· Design, configure, and maintain routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF across enterprise and data center environments.· Implement and manage VRFs (Virtual Routing and Forwarding) to segment network traffic and enhance routing control.· Implement VXLAN overlays for multi-tenant and scalable L2 over L3 segmentation in virtualized and physical networks· Work with EVPN-VXLAN / MP-BGP architectures and understand underlay/overlay network separation.͏ Configure and manage firewalls in both CLI and GUI(e.g., Juniper , Cisco Opensource Firewall ) to ensure perimeter and internal network security.· Set up, monitor, and troubleshoot VPNs including IPSec site-to-site and remote access VPNs.· Manage NAT policies, including static, dynamic, and PAT configurations, to ensure effective address translation and connectivity.· Perform regular network performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.· Perform packet capture and deep-dive traffic analysis using tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, or netflow.· Create and maintain technical documentation including network diagrams, SOPs, and inventory.͏
