As a Senior Engineer at Dell Technologies, you will play a crucial role in the Service Delivery team based in Bangalore. You will be responsible for ensuring that our technical solutions align with our clients" priorities, challenges, and initiatives. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing world-class support to our customers, preventing any impact on their operations, and fostering continuous improvement. By closely collaborating with Sales and Global Services teams, you will contribute to developing strategic account growth plans and identifying sales opportunities. Your responsibilities will include front-ending the build and operations of end-to-end network infrastructure in various data center environments, supporting network infrastructure for external customers, and conducting daily system monitoring. You will engage directly with highly technical customers, manage their expectations, and stay updated on the latest technical specifications for Dell Technologies" products and industry standards. The role requires working in a 24/7 rotating shift environment, covering both weekends and weekdays. To excel in this role, you should have 6-8 years of experience in remote IT infrastructure support for global enterprise clients. Your expertise should include 6+ years of experience with Vblock, VxRail, and MX Compute, along with a strong background in VMware technologies such as ESXi, vCenter, SRM, VSAN, and NSX V/T. Exposure to VMware Cloud foundation technologies on Dell Platforms, hands-on experience in SDDC environments, and knowledge of PowerEdge and PowerScale will be advantageous. You should be proficient in managing end-to-end infrastructure for Converged/HCI, Storage, Cloud Applications, Platform Infrastructure, and Data Protection.
