Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in verification and validation to a cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside collaborative, innovative, and highly motivated teammates.You'll play a critical role in delivering validation campaigns in accordance with test plans and test cases in their intended environments (real or simulated). Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business, including system, project, product, quality, and safety teams, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) commitments are met. You'll also contribute to the global V&V strategy, develop test architectures, and manage test execution, among other responsibilities.You'll specifically take care of preparing and performing software requirements tests and SW/SW integration tests, but also ensure compliance with safety and validation processes.We'll look to you for:
- Contributing to the global V&V strategy and collaborating on V&V plan development
- Specifying and designing overall tests, including test architecture and test cases
- Preparing and conducting test sessions, producing test reports, and managing change requests
- Developing and validating test environments and tools
- Investigating defects detected during testing
- Ensuring test traceability against requirements and adherence to configuration management plans
- Contributing to workload estimation and maintaining alignment with schedules
All About You

- Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in Engineering IT, CS, ECE, EEE, or equivalent
- 12+ years of experience in verification and validation of complex embedded systems
- Experience in testing onboard and trackside products in the railway industry (preferred but not mandatory)
- Familiarity with middleware testing and communication protocols
- Proficiency in requirement testing on simulated environments
- Programming skills in C, C++, ADA, and scripting languages like Python
- Knowledge of RTOS such as Linux, VXWorks, or QNX
- Experience with protocols like TCP/IP and CAN
- Understanding of standards such as CENELEC SIL4 or DO178A/DO178B
- Strong analytical skills and ability to thrive in collaborative, geographically distributed teams
