We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to lead the development of the System Certification View Service , a pivotal component within the Mercedes-Benz OS Portal ecosystem . This role is ideal for a passionate technologist who thrives in architecting full stack solutions, leading development teams, and building enterprise-grade applications using Vue.js 3 , TypeScript , Spring Boot , and Kotlin . Key Responsibilities: Lead a team of 4 developers to deliver and maintain a scalable, secure, and performant service. Architect, design, and implement full-stack solutions using Vue 3, TypeScript, Spring Boot, and Kotlin. Collaborate with multiple backend microservices teams and drive seamless integration. Define and enforce coding standards, testing strategies, and DevOps practices. Conduct code reviews and mentor junior and senior developers. Oversee CI/CD pipelines and ensure efficient deployment strategies. Optimize application performance and scalability. Coordinate with product owners and stakeholders for requirement gathering and feature prioritization. Drive DevOps adoption: containerization (Docker), Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code. Ensure security compliance using OAuth2, JWT, and secure coding practices. Required Skills & Experience: 4 - 9 years of full stack development experience with hands-on expertise in: Frontend: Vue.js (preferably Vue 3), TypeScript, Pinia/Vuex, Vite/Webpack, pnpm/npm. Backend: Spring Boot, Kotlin, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA. Deep experience with REST APIs , microservices, and event-driven systems (Apache Kafka). Strong command of PostgreSQL and database performance optimization. Skilled in testing frameworks : Vitest, Playwright, Jest, JUnit, Mockito, Testcontainers. Experience with CI/CD pipelines , Docker, Kubernetes, and preferably Azure Cloud . Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as OpenTelemetry , Datadog . Sound understanding of enterprise security patterns and best practices. Experience leading teams and mentoring peers. Strong grasp of Agile/Scrum methodology and collaborative team delivery. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of automotive industry standards or certification processes . Hands-on experience with AG Grid , Helm , contract testing (Pact) , or load testing (Gatling) . Experience working with Azure cloud services , security scanning , and DevSecOps tools. Familiarity with Mercedes-Benz development tools and practices is a plus. Education & Certifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Certifications in frontend frameworks or Azure DevOps/cloud are advantageous. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Strong leadership and team mentoring abilities. Problem-solving mindset with analytical and critical thinking. Adaptability in a fast-paced, agile environment.
