About the job We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Turning and Milling programmer with Master Cam experience to join our precision machining team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in programming CNC Turning and Milling machines for high-accuracy components, preferably in aerospace or similar industries.. Key Responsibilities: Create and optimize programs for CNC Turning Centers using G-code, M-code, and CAM software. Set up and operate CNC turning machines for prototype and production batches. Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T , and technical specifications. Select appropriate tools, inserts, and machining strategies based on material and tolerance requirements. Collaborate with production, quality, and design teams to ensure quality and efficiency . Conduct first-piece inspections and make necessary adjustments. Maintain tool libraries and programming standards. Continuously improve cycle time, tool life, and machining accuracy. Qualifications & Experience: Diploma/ITI in Mechanical Engineering (NTTF, GTTC, CTTC, or equivalent preferred) 3+ years of experience in CNC turning programming & operations Hands-on experience with CAM software - Mastercam Strong knowledge of G-code/M-code , tool paths, cutting parameters Excellent understanding of cutting tools , materials, and machine setup Familiar with tight tolerance machining and quality inspection processes Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
