VTL Operator

You are required to operate and maintain Vertical Turning Lathe (VTL) machines at our Mumbai location to manufacture precision components according to technical specifications. Your responsibilities will include operating VTL machines for precision machining, interpreting engineering drawings and work instructions, setting up tools and machine parameters, monitoring cutting speeds and feeds, inspecting finished components for accuracy, performing basic troubleshooting and maintenance, documenting production output, and ensuring a safe and organized workspace. To excel in this role, you should have experience in VTL machine operation with knowledge of Siemens, Fanuc, or Heidenhain controls. You must be able to read technical drawings, understand machining symbols, handle cutting tools and inserts, utilize precision measuring instruments, troubleshoot machine errors, maintain quality standards, and work both independently and in a team environment.
