Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented VTL Machine Operator to operate Vertical Turret Lathes to produce precision metal parts. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in machine setup, tool changes, and quality inspections, with a strong focus on safety and productivity. Key Responsibilities: Operate and monitor VTL (Vertical Turret Lathe) machines to perform turning, facing, boring, and other operations on large workpieces. Set up machines including tooling, work holding, and part alignment according to engineering drawings and specifications. Load/unload parts using cranes or lifting equipment as required. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering specifications. Inspect finished parts using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure they meet quality standards. Perform routine maintenance on machines and report malfunctions or irregularities to maintenance or supervisors. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus. Minimum [X] years of experience operating VTL machines or CNC lathes. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and quality control procedures. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Willingness to work shifts, overtime, or weekends as required.
