Monitor m/c and equipment performance to achieve best performance and maintain boring segregation at shop. Convey to operators about tolerance and manufacturing drawings requirement. Periodical checking m/c process and dimension inspection. Maintain production report, time log, m/c maintenance log sheet, dimension report. Entry in ERP & MES. Coordinate with other department for smooth work. Maintaining adequate levels of materials and supplies necessary for the machine shop's operations. Identifying and resolving technical issues that may arise during the machining process. Working with other departments, such as engineering and production, to optimize processes and improve efficiency. Ensuring the quality of machined parts through inspection and adherence to quality standards. Job Summary Produces manufacturing parts by programing, setting up, and operating CNC machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and programing. Select the required CNC tools as per component and programing. Record the inspection results in respective format Update the status of production on ERP / Work order. Move the material along with all reports to next stage. Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures. Follow the duties assigned by supervisor and report if anything is going wrong. Responsible for loading parts, proving tapes, operating controls, setting offsets, advanced edits, deburring and inspection of quality parts for conformance to requirements. Knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts and other accessories used on various machines. Experience operating CNC Machines such as lathes machines in a heavy manufacturing environment Facility/Group Specific Responsibilities Production of items as per drawings, work orders and as per production plan. Verify the calibration date of inspection tools, prior to inspection. Work as per procedure / Work instructions First article and in-process inspection as required as per procedure. Work experience in CNC Turning operating and programing Must be proficient with Fanuc and siemens CNC programing Strong knowledge of all measuring instruments and GD&T Must be able to communicate in English.
