Job Title: Accountant Department: Accounts & Finance --- Job Summary: The Accountant is responsible for managing the company’s financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, preparing financial statements, handling taxation matters, and supporting the management with financial planning and analysis. --- Key Responsibilities: Maintain and update financial records and ledgers on a daily basis. Prepare and review vouchers, invoices, receipts, and journal entries. Manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow. Handle payroll processing and employee reimbursement claims. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as GST, TDS, PF, and ESI. Prepare and file monthly and annual tax returns. Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits. Prepare financial reports for management review and decision-making. Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis activities. Maintain confidentiality of all financial information. --- Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance. 2–5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles. Strong knowledge of accounting standards and taxation laws. Proficiency in Tally ERP / QuickBooks / Zoho Books / MS Excel. Analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
