Required Technical and Professional Experience Experience: Minimum 8+ years of experience in IT architecture or consulting roles, with at least 3+ years focused on Azure. VMware Expertise: Strong experience in VMware modernization, with knowledge of Azure VMware Solution (AVS), vSphere, vSAN, and NSX. Application Modernization: Proven experience in re-platforming and refactoring legacy applications for Azure, with knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), App Services, and other Azure PaaS services. Landing Zone Design: Demonstrated experience designing and building Azure landing zones, leveraging Azure Policy, Azure Blueprints, and Azure Security Center to create secure multi-account architectures. Cloud Migration: Extensive experience with cloud migration projects, including planning, execution, and tools such as Azure Migrate, ASR (Azure Site Recovery), and database migration tools. Technical Skills: Proficiency with key Azure services (VMs, Storage, Networking, Active Directory, Functions, Cosmos DB, etc.) and Infrastructure-as-Code tools like ARM templates, Bicep, and Terraform. Security & Compliance: Strong understanding of Azure security services and compliance frameworks, including IAM policies, role-based access control (RBAC), and data protection best practices. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Technical and Professional Experience Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration within Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Familiarity with hybrid cloud strategies, including on-premises integrations and multi-cloud setups. Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
