As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for performing scheduled and emergency maintenance on HVAC systems, including ductable units, VRF systems, and DX units. Your role will involve troubleshooting and resolving HVAC performance issues to minimize downtime and ensure system efficiency. Additionally, you will conduct preventive maintenance and system inspections to detect and address potential problems proactively. It is crucial to accurately document all maintenance and repair work in service logs and reports while ensuring compliance with safety standards, local codes, and company policies at all times. You may work independently or collaboratively within a team to complete tasks effectively and within specified timelines. Moreover, providing technical guidance to junior technicians as needed will be part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this position, you should possess a high school diploma or ITI/Diploma in HVAC or a related technical field along with at least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial HVAC systems. Demonstrated expertise in VRF systems, ductable units, and DX units is essential, and holding a valid HVAC Technician Certification would be advantageous. The ability to interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals is required, in addition to having strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. You must be willing to be on-call and promptly respond to urgent service requests.
