Role Overview An Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and supporting the infrastructure that enables an organization's IT systems and services to run smoothly. This includes working with hardware, networking, virtualization, cloud environments, and security systems to ensure the organization's IT infrastructure is efficient, reliable, and scalable. Infrastructure engineers often work closely with software engineers, IT support teams, and system administrators to optimize performance, mitigate risks, and deliver high-quality services to end-users. What Will You Do In This Role We are seeking a highly critical technical specialist, innovator Infrastructure Data Center Networking Engineer that is passionate about collaborating across the various IT divisions and focused on building a best in class, automated and secure Data center environment. What You Will Do Perform network setup of Data Center network infrastructure based on provided low level design Understand and use Infrastructure-as-Code (Ansible, Python, Terraform) to implement and operate Data Center Optimize the network to improve convergence, performance and latency Maintain updated schematic diagrams for infrastructure and low-level architecture design diagram. Collaborate in Proof of concept and testing of network solutions. Maintain documentation related to network configuration, policies, procedures and service records. Provides support on a world-wide basis. What Should You Have Bachelors’ degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any Technology stream. 1+ years of hands-on experience in Data Center Technologies (Cisco Nexus and ACI) and Routing & Switching (VLAN, STP, QoS, VPC/MLAG, HSRP/VRRP, NAT, IPSec, MPLS, OSPF, BGP, VxLAN EVPN…) Having a DevOps mindset with good understanding of DevOps principles & best practices. Knowledge of other Networking Products (Cisco FTD, Palo Alto, F5 LTM and GTM, Infoblox) and their integration in a Data Center environment. Coding experience to automate and simplify IT processes and Infrastructure-as-Code (Ansible, Python, Terraform) Experience working according ITIL processes, Agile delivery and SDLC.
