Position: HVAC Service Manager Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced HVAC professional to lead our Service & Retrofit Operations. Role & responsibilities JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Design and optimize the refrigeration cycle VRF System design, product performance & qualification as per ISO standards Development of parts locally Work with sourcing team for development of parts Clarify drawings & other specs to local vendors Coordinate with design centers for substitution of process/material based on local requirements/availability if required Support sourcing team to validate vendor process and establish assurance findings to improve reliability over product life cycle Product Customization as per India business specific requirement Good knowledge of Engineering changes process Document control EDUCATION PREFERRED: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering M.Tech: Heat transfer / HVACR would be an added advantage EXPERIENCE PREFERRED : Target experience level: 5+ years in HVAC Light commercial / VRF products. You will be responsible for coordinating with different teams involved in projects to ensure successful completion. This includes managing the design of HVAC systems such as Chilled water systems and VRF System, conducting load calculations, selecting equipment, and overseeing system implementation. Working under pressure and tight deadlines will be necessary to achieve project goals, while also collaborating on multiple projects simultaneously. Your role will involve reading and understanding construction plans, adhering to international construction codes and standards, and conducting heat load calculations according to ASHRAE, ISHRAE & NBC Standards. Additionally, you will be required to calculate loads for AHUs, pumps, fans, pipes, and other equipment sizing, as well as design ducts, pipes, and air distribution systems. In addition to technical responsibilities, you will work on cost estimation, chiller design, duct/pipe design, equipment selection, smoke extraction, pressurization, and ventilation systems for areas such as Car Parking and Kitchen. Proficiency in conducting heat load calculations on HAP and developing documents such as BOQs, Design basis reports, quotations, technical specifications, and presentations is essential. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and have proven work experience as an HVAC Design Engineer or in a similar role within Consultant services. Excellent English Communication skills required. 2. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) and capable of learning and using company proprietary software programs and vendor supplied pricing programs. 3.
