As a Full-Time Data Center Engineer and CI Support member at FIS, you will play a crucial role in supporting the FIS Gen3 infrastructure. Your primary focus will involve working with ACI, Automation, and performing network changes and troubleshooting as required. You will be responsible for tasks such as device configurations, IOS upgrades, and deployment of network devices like routers, switches, and ACI using both manual and automated methods. Additionally, you will follow documented network services processes, identify process gaps, and recommend improvements for enhanced efficiency. In this role, you will monitor, respond to, and resolve network problems and incident tickets, utilizing tools like Service Now for Incident & change management. Troubleshooting network issues and recommending corrective procedures will be essential parts of your responsibilities. You will also have the opportunity to identify workflow enhancement opportunities and create supporting documentation for peer and management review. To excel in this position, you should possess 6-10 years of relevant experience with a strong skill set. Proficiency in ACI with skills such as Switch installation and configuration, ACI fabric, and ACI greenfield deployment is required. Additionally, knowledge of Overlay protocols like VXLAN, EVPN, Virtualization concepts including VMware vCenter, and Automation tools like Git, Python, and Ansible will be beneficial. Familiarity with Cisco and Juniper Routing & switching, as well as routing protocols such as OSPFV2, OSPF V3, and BGP, will be valuable assets.
