Essential Position Functions The Senior Hydrographic Surveyor is assigned to a project by the Operations Department. The Senior Hydrographic Surveyor directs, and controls, assigned staff to ensure that correct procedures are conformed to during the offshore phase of the project. All communications with the office regarding project related issues goes through the Senior Hydrographic Surveyor. The Senior Hydrographic Surveyor oversees daily operations in the field. All field staff assigned to a project will report to the Senior Hydrographic Surveyor.
