You will be working as a Network Architect for a global technology consulting and digital solutions company based in Mumbai. With over 10 years of experience, your role will involve virtual interviews and a hybrid work mode under a contract-to-hire job type. Your primary responsibilities will include being a Palo Alto Subject Matter Expert (SME) and having hands-on experience in configuring Palo Alto firewalls. As a Network Architect, you will be required to maintain access policies for clients on firewalls, create VPN tunnels, and troubleshoot related issues. Your expertise should extend to 3rd party connectivity infrastructure network and security, as well as installation and configuration of Cisco Switches, Routers, Access Points, and Wireless LAN Controllers. Configuring routing protocols such as RIP, RIPv2, IGRP, EIGRP, BGP, and OSPF will be part of your routine tasks. You will collaborate with vendors for existing and new implementations, handle service restoration, service requests, and change requests. Additionally, you will be responsible for commissioning and decommissioning network components, following change control processes, and planning, scheduling, and implementing network device software and hardware upgrades and migrations. Documenting your work, maintaining network drawings using Visio, and demonstrating a high degree of analytical ability to resolve network problems will be essential. Flexibility in working evening and weekend hours for network infrastructure changes is required. Candidates with Palo Alto certifications, particularly PCNSE, are preferred for this role.
