Job Title: System Engineer VPN & Network Infrastructure Location: Noida Department: IT / Infrastructure Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and proactive System Engineer with hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing VPN solutions and secure network infrastructures . The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of system administration, network protocols, and cyber security best practices, and will be responsible for creating custom VPNs, ensuring secure remote access, and maintaining robust internal IT systems. Key Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and manage custom VPN solutions (e.g., OpenVPN, WireGuard, IPSec, etc.) for secure remote connectivity. Configure and maintain network infrastructure , including routers, firewalls, switches, and access points. Monitor and troubleshoot VPN performance and connectivity issues, ensuring high availability and reliability. Implement security protocols and best practices to safeguard internal systems and remote access points. Work with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure needs for software development, testing, and deployment. Manage user access and authentication for VPN usage (e.g., certificates, multi-factor authentication). Maintain documentation for VPN configurations, system architecture, and network topology. Perform regular system upgrades, patches, and backups to ensure optimal performance and security. Conduct audits and compliance checks to meet internal and external security standards. Provide technical support and training to internal teams related to VPN access and system tools. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 2–5 years of experience as a System Engineer, Network Administrator, or a similar role. Strong proficiency in C++ and Linux/Unix system administration (mandatory). Proven experience in setting up and managing custom VPNs (OpenVPN, WireGuard, StrongSwan, etc.). Solid understanding of firewalls, routing, and IP addressing. Experience with scripting languages such as Bash or Python for automation tasks. Good grasp of cybersecurity fundamentals, encryption techniques, and access control mechanisms. Exposure to cloud infrastructure platforms like AWS or Azure is an advantage. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Technology Preference: Accops/Swift/F5 VPN and Netskope ZTNA solutions We are seeking a skilled and experienced VPN - L1 Engineer to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in network security, with a strong focus on managing VPN solutions. The role involves commissioning, implementing, and maintaining VPN solutions, integrating them with various management and authentication tools, and ensuring high levels of network security and performance. Key Responsibilities: VPN Management & Implementation: Manage and implement VPN solutions, integrating them with management and authentication tools (email, AD, IAM, SIEM). Deploy and maintain access and security policies for VPN solutions. Design and implement VPN solutions for DC/DR/Cloud and branch office environments. Network Security: Perform daily performance checks on devices, periodic audits, and compliance checks. Implement and maintain network security policies, standards, and procedures. Conduct packet capture, analysis, and troubleshooting using tools like Wireshark/Pcap. Incident Management: Support incident monitoring, analysis, and response initiatives. Coordinate with users to ensure timely resolution of trouble tickets, troubleshooting layers 1, 2, and 3 of the OSI Model. Investigate, isolate, and resolve VPN incidents, providing RCA. Automation & Scripting: Automate processes using scripting and configuration (SOAR) tools. Work to automate and integrate tools with REST API/SDK for security dashboards and InfoSec tools (AD, IDAM, PAM, SIEM, SOAR). Collaboration & Coordination: Coordinate with OEMs for TAC support, RMA, replacement, and reconfiguration of VPNs. Collaborate with the helpdesk, IT support, and application support teams to troubleshoot and resolve high-priority incidents. Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, inventory control documentation, and security documentation. Ensure ticket closure within SLA and follow up on escalated tickets. Provide SLA reporting for the respective technology. Compliance & Patch Management: Ensure compliance and closure of audit points within agreed timelines. Manage patch updates and upgrades per the Bank's compliance and audit requirements. Leadership & Mentorship: Lead and mentor L1 engineers, providing guidance and support. Required Candidate Profile: Experience: Overall 1-4 years of experience in network security, with at least 3 years in managing VPN solutions. Hands-on experience with Windows, Linux, and Unix environments. Proficiency with Accops/Swift/F5 VPN and Netskope ZTNA solutions. Experience with incident, problem, service request, change, configuration, and capacity management of VPN setups.
