As an experienced AWS L5 Engineer leading our Managed Services division as a Technical Head, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the architecture, security, availability, and operational efficiency of cloud infrastructure for our enterprise clients. Your expertise in AWS cloud services, particularly in large-scale mission-critical environments, will drive automation, ensure high availability, and deliver continuous improvements to meet our clients" business needs. Your key responsibilities will include operational leadership, where you will manage the daily operations of AWS infrastructure, focusing on operational excellence and cost optimization. Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing 24/7 cloud operations, conducting incident management, troubleshooting, and implementing disaster recovery strategies to ensure business continuity. Proactively monitoring and automation will be a significant part of your role, involving the development and implementation of automated monitoring solutions using tools like AWS CloudWatch and ELK Stack. You will also create automation scripts for backups, patching, and routine tasks to enhance operational efficiency. Cost optimization will be another critical aspect of your role, as you continuously monitor AWS usage to recommend optimizations that improve cost efficiency without compromising performance. You will collaborate with finance teams to forecast cloud spend and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints. In terms of security and compliance management, you will oversee security configurations, perform regular security audits, and ensure compliance with frameworks such as GDPR, SOC 2, and ISO 27001. You will also lead initiatives in patch management, security remediations, and adherence to governance protocols. Infrastructure automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) implementation using tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform will be essential for automating provisioning and scaling. Moreover, you will develop automation frameworks for monitoring, backup, scaling, and recovery to leverage AWS services effectively. Client relationship and service management will require you to act as the primary technical lead for client engagements, collaborate with account management teams, and engage with clients to identify opportunities for service improvement. Continuous improvement and innovation are crucial aspects of your role, where you will drive innovation by staying up-to-date on AWS technologies, lead service improvement plans, and spearhead initiatives to enhance automation, incident response times, and infrastructure reliability. In terms of qualifications, you should have at least 15+ years of hands-on experience in managing cloud environments, with 5+ years in AWS-focused roles. You should possess expertise in core AWS services, monitoring tools, scripting skills, network security concepts, and soft skills such as problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills. Preferred qualifications include AWS Certifications, hands-on experience with multi-cloud environments, familiarity with automation tools, and knowledge of compliance frameworks. Your ability to lead in high-pressure environments while balancing multiple priorities and delivering under tight deadlines will be essential for success in this role.,
