VP - Lead Full Stack Engineer

Role Overview: You are the Applications Development Senior Manager responsible for managing a team to establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs. Your main goal is to drive applications systems analysis and programming activities. Key Responsibilities: - Manage one or more Applications Development teams to achieve established goals and handle personnel duties such as performance evaluations, hiring, and disciplinary actions - Utilize your in-depth knowledge and skills across multiple Applications Development areas to provide technical oversight - Review and analyze proposed technical solutions for projects - Contribute to formulating strategies for applications development and other functional areas - Develop a comprehensive understanding of how different business areas integrate to achieve business goals - Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual data in complex situations - Impact the Applications Development area by monitoring delivery of end results, participating in budget management, and handling day-to-day staff management issues - Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards, negotiating with external parties when required - Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions, safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and escalate control issues with transparency - Supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain standards Qualifications: - 12+ years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry - Experience as an Applications Development Manager and in a senior-level role - Stakeholder and people management experience - Demonstrated leadership and project management skills - Basic knowledge of industry practices and standards - Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills Education: - Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience required - Masters degree preferred Additional Details: You should have a good understanding of API and API Gateways, excellent skillset in Java/J2EE, sound knowledge in relational & non-relational Databases, and experience in CICD.
