VP, ICS Threat Scenarios

Role Overview: As the VP, ICS Threat Scenarios at Standard Chartered, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Threat Scenario-led Risk Assessment (TSRA) team. Your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and maintaining new threat scenarios, driving digitization and automation, collaborating with various stakeholders, and instilling a culture of cyber security within the bank. You will report directly to the Director, ICS Threat Scenarios. Key Responsibilities: - Strategy: Utilize strong cybersecurity and technical knowledge, business acumen, and organizational skills to manage a multi-disciplinary group and ensure effective Cybersecurity Risk Management and process controls. - Business: Collaborate with various teams to sustain the TSRA threat scenario library, analyze evolving threat landscapes, identify risk scenarios, and suggest mitigations to minimize risks. Develop into a Subject Matter Expert (SME) by working closely with CISO and 2LoD teams. - Processes: Drive the creation of a central project plan for uplifting TSRA Threat Scenarios, work with senior stakeholders to outline yearly objectives, coordinate Working Group meetings, and collaborate with product teams for implementation. - People & Talent Management: Work closely with various teams to embed a culture of risk awareness and good conduct, improve client centricity, and promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. - Risk Management: Collaborate with senior stakeholders to drive effective security risk management and compliance, and enhance the bank's ability to proactively identify and manage cyber threats. - Governance: Provide timely reporting to appropriate committees, support assurance activities and audits, and facilitate resolution of high impact risks and issues. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, cyber-security, or a related field. - More than 15 years of experience in technology, risk, and controls, preferably in Banking & Financial Services. - At least 5 years of working experience in Cybersecurity, Networking Security, Cloud Security, or Threat Intelligence Analysis. - Demonstrable knowledge of MITRE Methodology/Framework, threat intelligence, and mitigation techniques. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other relevant tools. Preferred Qualifications: - Good understanding of networking concepts including OSI model and TCP/IP. - Knowledge of cyber defensive/detection technologies and industry standard control statements. - Certification in CISSP, CCSP, CISA, CEH, GSEC, CISM, or CompTIA Security+.
