Position: Industrial Sales Engineer Location: Delhi/Ncr Employment Type: Full time/Permanent Experience: 1-5 years Desired candidates profile: Education:B-Tech/Diploma in mechanical engineering. Experience in industrial sales. Good English, strong communication and negotiation skills. Fair exposure to handle EPCs or consultants executing projects in boiler industry. Result oriented, self-driven individual with high level of technical expertise and strong commercial acumen. Capable of handling multiple products. Willing to travel extensively. Responsibilities of Sales Engineer Generate inquiries and leads from process industries, OEMs, Dealers Identify and develop new markets, customers, and applications for Sensors and allied products. Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction. Understand customer requirements and technical specifications, and guide them with appropriate solutions. Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations. Engage in technical discussions, negotiations, and order finalisation. Take ownership of achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets (sales revenue & volume). Strategic selling and account management for long-term customer retention. Liaise with internal execution, design, and service teams to ensure timely pre- and post-sales support. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies to stay competitive. Ensure timely payment collection and resolve any customer issues proactively. Mentor, guide, and train the sales team to maximize their contribution to company growth. Participate in industry exhibitions, seminars, and conferences to promote company products and brand. Provide feedback to the management and R&D teams on customer needs, market requirements, and product improvements. Maintain proper sales reports, customer databases, and MIS for tracking and forecasting. Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical practices, and statutory requirements during sales activities. Extensive traveling across assigned regions for customer meetings, plant visits, market development, and project follow-ups.
