The Cybersecurity Technologist at Oceaneering works closely with project managers, business analysts, and contractors to develop security solutions that meet company requirements. This role involves providing expertise in evaluating, selecting, designing, and integrating IT security systems and tools in a complex corporate environment. Responsibilities include evaluating, designing, configuring security infrastructure systems globally, performing security audits and assessments, analyzing logs and vulnerability scanning outputs, and implementing complex changes to security solutions within the company network. The role also requires generating solution design documentation, and the ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%. Qualifications: - Basic knowledge of Palo Alto security products, CyberArk Endpoint Privilege Manager (CEPM), and Splunk SIEM tool - Solid understanding of information security principles, security protocols, and standards - Conceptual understanding of security systems such as intrusion detection, firewalls, identity management, and vulnerability scanning - Familiarity with core networking technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP - Ability to pass a security background check Desired: - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio - Degree in computer science or related field preferred - Familiarity with Active Directory configurations, Cyberark Identity Management, CISCO networking equipment, Bitlocker drive encryption, and more The ideal candidate should possess problem-solving skills, the ability to work effectively in a team, prioritize project tasks, and maintain a high level of security and confidentiality.
