As an SD-WAN Architect at Capgemini, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing SD-WAN architectures for new deployments and migrations. Your responsibilities will include configuring and managing SD-WAN controllers, edge devices, and orchestrators. It is essential to have hands-on experience with Cisco Viptela, Fortinet Secure SD-WAN, VMware VeloCloud, or Versa Networks. A strong understanding of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IPSec, QoS, and network segmentation is required for this role. To excel in this position, you should have 4-12 years of experience in SD-WAN infrastructure, encompassing incident resolution, root cause analysis, and performance optimization. Proficiency in deploying and troubleshooting Cisco and Cisco Viptela SD-WAN solutions is a key requirement. Additionally, familiarity with network monitoring tools like SolarWinds, ThousandEyes, and troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, NetFlow, and SNMP will be advantageous.
