As the Data Center Integration and Optimization Integration Lead, you will lead the server and application migrations as part of our data center integration and optimization program. Your responsibilities will include: Planning: Develop a detailed migration plan outlining the scope, timeline, resources, and potential risks. Coordinate with stakeholders to identify applications and servers for migration to minimize downtime. Create a testing strategy to ensure the functionality of migrated applications in the new environment. Execution: Oversee the migration process, ensuring adherence to the plan. Coordinate with the technical team to configure the new environment accurately, transfer data securely, and optimize server setups. Troubleshooting: Address any issues swiftly during the migration, such as data transfer errors, application performance issues, or server configuration problems. Interfacing with Various Teams: Act as the primary contact for migration-related matters, collaborating with IT, network, security, and operations teams. Ensure alignment, resolve conflicts, and provide updates on migration progress. Customer Centricity: Demonstrate a customer-centric approach, maintaining communication and staying informed about industry trends to make informed recommendations. Required Qualifications: - Graduate degree in relevant field or equivalent experience. - 15 years of IT experience with strong communication skills. - 8 years of experience in application modernization, cloud migrations, and VMWare migrations. - Experience leading technical teams and coordinating across departments. - Proficiency in cloud migrations, connectivity, networking, and multi-tenancy with large enterprises. Preferred Qualifications: - Hands-on experience with network architectures and cloud environments. - Proficiency in data center technologies and network security in cloud environments. - Expertise in cloud networking technologies and troubleshooting network-related issues. - Strong problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and capability to work collaboratively. - Ability to design and manage core services, support automation, and ensure compliance with security policies. - Skills in negotiating technical strategies with stakeholders and providing consulting support.
