As the top-level expert, you will provide strategic insights and advanced troubleshooting support across the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and deploy robust VMware vSphere, vSAN, and Azure VMware Solution (AVS) to meet the future business needs while ensuring reliability, scalability, and security. - Provide L4 support for the most complex issues in the virtual infrastructure, including deep-dive analysis and troubleshooting of vSphere, vSAN, and AVS environments. - Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide virtualization strategies, integrating with existing systems and planning for future technologies. - Develop and enforce best practices for vSphere, vSAN, and AVS administration, encompassing performance tuning, disaster recovery, and security compliance. - Conduct sophisticated capacity planning and performance analysis to forecast growth needs and identify potential bottlenecks in the virtual infrastructure. - Spearhead the evaluation and adoption of new virtualization technologies and tools to drive innovation and continuous improvement within the IT infrastructure. - Collaborate with senior IT leaders to align virtualization strategies with overall IT and business goals. - Mentor and develop a team of VMware administrators, nurturing a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
