Job Description

Day-to-day management of the NSX environment & configuration (Distributed Firewall) on the cloud setup in the bank on 24x7x365 basis. In case bank desires, the resources should be able to work from anywhere through VPN (no cost to be paid additionally for this) Adhere to best practice to configure firewall rules using tools like vRealize Network Insight and NSX-T Provide Support and update to application teams (Customers of Cloud) through one-to-one interaction, Phone Line, Email and Ticketing too including liaising with application team and provide automated infrastructure data to help optimize the application. Provide automated capacity dashboards to make decisions on application onboarding. Proactive monitoring and Troubleshooting (related to Virtualization, Storage, Network etc) Prepare and maintain quality documentation including Standard Operating Procedures, User Manuals, Run books for infrastructure related to most critical apps, etc Work with bank team to perform Incident Management, Change Management & Problem Management as per bank's processes Backup of NSX configuration and keeping them up to date.
