As an experienced Network and Security Engineer, you will be responsible for configuring, installing, and troubleshooting Firewall and load balancers. Your expertise will include managing firewalls such as VMWare NSX T and Checkpoint, along with a good understanding of TAG concept in NSX T. You will also be proficient in working with F5 platform LTM GTM, VMWare AVI, and have experience in creating and managing VIPS, Pools, health monitors, and iRules. Your role will require excellent knowledge and solution design skills in BIG IP F5 Load balancer LTM GTM, as well as a strong understanding of DNS architecture. You must be capable of constructing iRules from technical requirements and have a solid grasp of the F5 AVI CLI command set. Troubleshooting traffic and connectivity issues through load balancers, utilizing packet capture features for analysis, and understanding various networking protocols like TCPIP, SMTP, FTP, HTTP, SNMP, Syslog, SSH, etc., will be part of your daily tasks. In addition, you will be responsible for implementing software upgrades on Load balancers, resolving production critical and escalated issues, providing root cause analysis, coordinating with OEM vendors for support cases and license management, and planning and executing DR drills in coordination with other teams. You will also be expected to engage in advanced troubleshooting of production incidents, perform Capacity Management, and participate in the problem management process for root cause determination and permanent corrective action. Furthermore, training L1, L2, and L3 colleagues on various operational topics, both technical and process-related, will be part of your responsibilities. From a technical standpoint, you should have experience in Datacenter Firewall Administration and Operations, managing CheckPoint VMWare NSX T Firewall, expertise in F5 Load balancer LTM GTM, expertise in VMWare AVI Load balancer, a good understanding of DC Network Routing Switching concepts, and knowledge of DNS, DHCP, IPAM. Your extensive design, implementation, and operational experience with Load balancers and Firewalls in a large Enterprise DC environment will be highly valued. Possessing certifications in F5 Load balancer, VMWare NSX T, and AVI Load balancer, as well as familiarity with Service Now ticketing tool, will be considered advantageous for this role.
