VMC/CNC setter

Set up and operate Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs).

Interpret and analyze technical drawings and blueprints.

Develop and optimize CNC programs for efficient production.

Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of machining equipment.

Conduct regular inspections and quality checks of finished products.

Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues and anomalies.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to enhance processes.

Document and maintain records of programming and machining activities.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.

Experience in operating and programming VMCs.

Strong understanding of CNC programming languages, particularly G-code.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.

Proven mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
