VMC Setter Precision CNC Manufacturing

Role Overview: You will be joining the production team at Unitek Engineering, a leading precision CNC turning and milling company in Bangalore, as a skilled and experienced VMC Setter. Your primary responsibility will be to set up and operate Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs) with a focus on tooling, fixture setup, and component accuracy. Key Responsibilities: - Set up VMC machines based on job requirements, drawings, and tool paths - Load programs, adjust offsets, and make corrections to meet component tolerances - Choose suitable tools, chucks, and fixtures for different materials and job types - Conduct first piece inspection and ensure part conformity using measuring instruments - Collaborate with programmers, operators, and QA teams for optimal machining results - Maintain cleanliness, safety, and perform preventive maintenance of machines Qualifications & Experience: - ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or relevant trade - Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience as a VMC Setter in a precision machining setup - Proficient in reading engineering drawings and understanding GD&T - Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, Vernier calipers, and bore gauges - Exposure to Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi controls preferred What We Offer: - Competitive salary based on skills & experience - PF, ESI, OT & performance incentives - Attendance bonus and subsidized lunch - Clean, safety-focused workplace with growth opportunities,
