The VMC Programmer role is a full-time on-site position based in Noida. As a VMC Programmer, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing CNC programs specifically for Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs). Your duties will involve interpreting technical drawings, selecting appropriate tools and materials, setting up machines, troubleshooting any issues that arise, and ensuring the quality assurance of the machining processes. Collaboration with the engineering and production teams will also be essential to enhance machining processes and efficiencies. To excel in this role, you should have proficiency in CNC programming, including G-code and M-code. Experience with CAD/CAM software for designing and creating machining paths is crucial, along with a strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications. Hands-on experience with setting up and operating VMC machines is required, as well as problem-solving skills to troubleshoot any machining issues that may occur. Attention to detail, commitment to quality assurance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team are also key attributes for this position. While a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred, previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment would be advantageous for this role.
