VMC Programmer

Role Overview: As a VMC (Vertical Machining Center) programmer, your primary responsibility will be to create and optimize CNC programs for VMCs using Software Delcam Version 25 and Cmeetron Version 20,25. Your role involves ensuring precise and efficient machining of parts based on engineering drawings. This includes translating design specifications into machine instructions, selecting appropriate tools and settings, and addressing any issues during the machining process. Key Responsibilities: - Program Development: - Creating and optimizing CNC programs for VMCs with CAD/CAM software. - Translating engineering drawings and design specifications into machine instructions. - Selecting suitable cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and coolant settings. - Machine Setup and Operation: - Setting up and adjusting VMC machines for production. - Loading and unloading materials and parts. - Verifying program control data for accuracy. - Troubleshooting and Quality Control: - Addressing issues related to programs, tooling, or machine performance. - Ensuring smooth and efficient production processes. - Inspecting finished parts for quality and accuracy. - Collaboration and Communication: - Collaborating with engineers and machinists to ensure precise production. - Communicating effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and resolve any issues. Qualification Required: - Experience of 3-5 years in VMC programming. - Job Types: Full-time, Permanent. Note: Work Location is in person.
