VMC Operator & Setter

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate VMC machines as per process plans and drawings.
• Prepare tools, fixtures, and machine offsets before production.
• Load raw materials and ensure proper alignment of workpieces.
• Perform tool changes and adjust offsets during machining.
• Conduct first-piece inspection and ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Monitor machine operations and make necessary parameter adjustments.
• Maintain production logs, job cards, and inspection reports.
• Perform daily machine cleaning, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenance.
• Identify and report any machine faults or deviations to the supervisor.
• Follow safety and quality standards throughout the machining process.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Good knowledge of VMC machine operation and setting.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and measurement instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.).
• Familiar with Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi controller programming basics.
• Understanding of tooling, jigs, and fixtures.
• Basic knowledge of CNC programming (G & M codes) preferred.
• Strong focus on quality and precision.
• Willingness to work in shifts and under production targets.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
