VMC Machine Operator

Job Description

• Setting up and operating VMC machines according to job requirements and daily production plans.
• Interpreting engineering drawings, tool layouts, and machining instructions to ensure accurate production.
• Monitoring machining parameters and ensuring dimensional accuracy using measuring instruments.
• Conducting first-piece approval, in-process inspection, and final inspection of finished parts.
• Performing basic machine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication activities to keep the machines in optimal condition.
• Identifying abnormalities, troubleshooting issues, and reporting to the supervisor.
• Maintaining production reports and following safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.

• Set Up and Operate VMC Machines: Prepare the machine for operation by selecting and installing the appropriate tools and materials, and ensuring that the machine is calibrated correctly for the job.
• Read and Interpret Blueprints: Understand engineering blueprints, schematics, and tooling instructions to ensure that parts are manufactured to the required specifications.
• Load and Unload Materials: Efficiently load raw materials into the machine and unload finished products, ensuring that the workflow remains uninterrupted.
• Monitor Machine Operations: Continuously observe the machine's performance during operation to detect any malfunctions or production errors, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Conduct Routine Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks on the machines, troubleshoot issues, and ensure that all equipment is functioning optimally to prevent downtime.
• Inspect Finished Products: Check the quality and accuracy of the finished parts to ensure they meet the required standards and specifications.
• Maintain a Clean Work Area: Keep the work environment organized and free of hazards, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
