Accounts Associate Job Brief Vlookup Business Solutions Pvt Ltd Job Title: Accounts Associate (Receivable/Payable) Position Type: Full-Time Location: Mysore, KA We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Associate to manage and oversee accounts receivable and payable processes. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial transactions, maintain compliance with company policies, and support the finance team in achieving operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Accounts Receivable: · Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely collection of payments. · Generate and send accurate invoices to clients. · Reconcile accounts receivable transactions and resolve discrepancies. · Prepare aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts. · Coordinate with the sales and customer service teams to address billing issues. Accounts Payable: · Review, verify, and process vendor invoices and expense reports. · Ensure timely payment of bills while maintaining proper documentation. · Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies. · Process electronic transfers, checks, and payment runs. · Maintain accurate records of all payable transactions. General Accounting: · Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities. · Prepare financial reports related to receivables and payables. · Support internal and external audits with necessary documentation. · Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. · Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in accounts receivable/payable or a similar role. · Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. · Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle). · Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. · Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling. · Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
