We are looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Computer Instructor to join our team. As a Computer Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching various computer skills to students with diverse backgrounds and skill levels. Your role will involve delivering engaging lessons on computer applications, networking, and technical support while effectively communicating with and engaging students in the learning process. Your duties will include developing and delivering lesson plans covering Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and Adobe Captivate. Additionally, you will provide instruction on computer networking concepts and technical support practices to enhance students" understanding of IT fundamentals. Hands-on training sessions will be a key part of your role, encouraging student participation and practical application of the skills learned. You will assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, and practical exercises, offering constructive feedback to support their improvement. Maintaining an organized classroom environment that promotes learning and collaboration among students is essential. Keeping updated with the latest technology trends and educational methodologies will help you continuously enhance your instructional techniques. To qualify for this position, you must have a commerce graduate or post-graduate degree. Proficiency in MS-OFFICE applications like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required, including knowledge of Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts, V-look up, H-look up, Logical Functioning, and Conditional Formatting in Excel. Previous experience in teaching or training in a computer-related field is preferred. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, and basic computer networking principles is necessary. Excellent communication skills are vital, enabling you to explain complex concepts in an understandable manner. Familiarity with technical support processes and troubleshooting techniques is advantageous. Experience in creating engaging instructional materials using tools such as Adobe Captivate is desirable. A genuine passion for education and a dedication to helping students succeed in their learning journey are crucial qualities for this role.
