Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Professor at Vivekanand College, Kolhapur. The Assistant Professor is responsible for preparing and delivering lectures, leading classroom discussions, and evaluating student performance. Other responsibilities include mentoring students, conducting research, publishing scholarly articles, participating in faculty meetings, and coordinating with department heads to enhance curriculum development and educational standards. The position requires active engagement in academic and extracurricular activities and contributions to the academic community. Qualifications Strong knowledge in the subject area of specialization and the ability to teach relevant courses Experience in conducting research and publishing scholarly articles Effective communication and interpersonal skills for mentoring and leading discussions Capability to participate in curriculum development and academic programs Proficiency in educational technologies and tools beneficial for teaching and research Ph.D. or equivalent in the relevant field is preferred Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to the academic community Passion for teaching and dedication to student success
