Role & responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile

Make all inspection reports on day-to-day basis Supervise the final inspection of finished product ( Visual / Dimensional/PMI ) Supervise the Green inspection of Rough product ( Visual / Dimensional/PMI ) Ensure entry of final inspection and Green Inspection results in ABAS on daily basis. To check for visual defects for 100% finish flanges e.g. Dent, scratches, Cracks, marking, surface finish etc at Final inspection To check for visual defects for 100% Rough flanges e.g. unfilling, Cracks,Mismatch, Scale pits etc.
at GI and Hot Inspection To check Forging drawing as per given Forging WO To check Machining drawing as per given Machining WO To check material & heat number on rough flange as per given WO To check dimensions as per first piece approval check sheet by using measuring instruments e.g. Vernier caliper at inline inspection/Hot Inspection and report to the operator/supervisor if any abnormality/non-conformance in product To follow the QAP plan and Procedures for Inspection of Flanges To carry out 100% RM inspection (visual ,Colour and PMI) at Raw matreial yard To maintain WO and Colour code on Rough Flanges on palattes for proper identification and traceability To decide whether the flanges at GI of the Wo required OD/ID,Grinding, Heat treatment & ensure Proper material movement To carry out 100% PMI on flanges at GI and FI and maintain PMI records Proper movement of Material With WO from FI to packing and GI to Rough Stock To follow up the pending material and maintain (FIFO & LIFO) /priority wise inpection and movement of materials at FI and GI area To identify if any Grade mix By PMI and place them separately on palatte with tag or Wo for identification To maintain WO paper with finsih Flanges on palattes for proper identification and traceability To identify rejection in visual inspection & put identification on each piece by marker pen at FI area To identify if Grade mix By PMI and keep on a separate pallate with proper identification mark To maintain 5S score as per given target To follow Standard SOP Displayed at Work Places and maintain Inspection reports/documents for audit
