Visual Communication Designer - Marketing

As a Visual Communication Designer with a minimum of 2 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in Zinc & Broccoli, a vibrant agency situated in Bangalore. Your responsibilities will involve working on a variety of projects encompassing print and digital collateral for diverse industries and campaigns. It is essential to note that this is a 100% on-site role, offering you the opportunity to be an integral part of our dynamic team. Your key responsibilities in the short-term (1-2 years) will include leading standard design projects, actively participating in brainstorming sessions, offering feedback to designers, ensuring design quality checks, and personally engaging in key design projects and campaigns. You will be expected to collaborate with colleagues, attend briefing discussions, conduct brainstorming sessions, and create visual collateral. Additionally, you will need to liaise with technical experts and R&D teams to translate engineering concepts into easily understandable marketing materials, requiring occasional travel within Bangalore. Looking ahead to the medium- to long-term (2+ years), you will be tasked with gaining a deep understanding of our customers" businesses and taking the lead in marketing campaigns and product launches from a communication standpoint. Your role will involve creatively brainstorming, supporting the team, and agencies in visualizing designs and campaigns while maintaining a balance between technical information and visual appeal. Key Result Areas (KRAs) that will be crucial to your performance evaluation include enhancing customer satisfaction levels, improving marketing metrics of campaigns, and effectively balancing technical knowledge with creativity. In terms of employment, you can expect compensation in line with industry standards, with a minimum commitment of 2-3 years for this long-term role. The initial probation period will be 6 months, and a 3-month notice period will apply if you wish to terminate the contract. The required skills and tools for this role include proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), and the ability to work with Premiere Pro/After Effects. A solid grasp of marketing communication, excellent English communication skills, and a knack for copywriting are highly beneficial. Knowledge of the German language is advantageous but not mandatory.
