As a Visual Arts Teacher at Ekya Schools, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic educational environment that values creativity and student engagement. The position is available as both a full-time and part-time role, with locations at Ekya Byrathi on Hennur Bagalur Road and Ekya Nice Road on Mylasandra, Bengaluru. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality visual arts education to students across all grades at the school. You will be expected to adhere to international curriculum standards, making relevant connections between the learning area and the current global scenario. Your role involves designing coherent instructions to encourage independent thinking, utilizing various teaching techniques to address different learning styles, and collaborating with school counselors and coordinators to support students academically, socially, and non-academically. In terms of assessment, you will be required to conduct student assessments as per the approved curriculum, record and report on student development and behavior, issue grades and progress reports, and provide remedial sessions when necessary. Additionally, you will create a positive classroom culture, manage student behavior, and contribute to the school community's vision of inclusion and raising aspirations. As a professional, you will be expected to attend professional development sessions, communicate effectively with school staff and parents/guardians, organize extra-curricular activities, and ensure the safety of students during educational events and activities. Your goal will be to drive outstanding student achievement in the classroom and support colleagues in achieving school-wide student success.
